Why an annual membership?
Most importantly, annual membership dues help to fund programs for our children. In addition, they offset general MusicCounts! operating costs, such as mailings, photocopying, etc. This year we are covering the entire cost of the small ensembles. We even provide hot chocolate to chilly band members during night football games! Our bi-monthly meetings are open to all members.

What will your extra contribution do?
Your extra contribution will be used to keep current after-school  ensembles going, help establish new programs, pay for new music scores, buy instruments, pay for rental of performance halls, transportation for performing in the Canton community such as nursing homes, etc.)

Help the music lesson scholarship fund!
We have established a scholarship fund to help students afford private and semi-private after-school lessons. Donations to the scholarship fund are set aside from our general funds. Students needing scholarships should contact the Coordinator of Performing Arts.

Get Involved!
MusicCounts! can only accomplish its goals with the help of volunteers. If you care about music education, we need your help. The more people get involved, the more we can get done for our children.  Please consider contacting us... help can be as simple as making a few calls or setting up music stands for rehearsals. We are also looking for help in fundraising and activities. And you don’t need to be a musician yourself!
